Discover the Biennale d’Art Contemporain in Lyon!

The Biennale d'Art Contemporain de Lyon is an art exhibition held every odd year alternating with the Biennale de danse in Lyon. It established itself as one of the major events in the city of Lyon.

The 2015 Biennale d’Art Contemporain brought together artists from 28 countries. The artworks are exhibited in iconic places of the city of Lyon as Sucrière, Musée des Confluences, Musée d’art contemporain, and many other such places.

From Thursday 10 September 2015 to Sunday 3 January 2016
Closed on every Monday

Hours

Weekdays:
From Tuesday to Friday from 11 am to 6 pm
And from 9:30 am for guided tours for groups (by reservation)

Weekends:
Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm

At night until 9 pm:
Friday 18 September, 9 October, 20 November and 11 December

Entry ticket: one visit of all venues, valid throughout the exhibition
Full price: €15
Entry + guided tour pack: from €16*
Reduced price upon presentation of proof of age: €8
(under 26 years, job seekers, large-family card holders, Visual Arts and Art History teachers (secondary and higher education levels), teachers of architecture, disabled people’s attendants, professionals, late-opening days from 6 pm)

Entry + guided tour pack:from €12*

Free upon presentation of proof of age: Under 15 years, M’RA card holders, students in the Rhône-Alpes region, art school students, Visual Arts and Art History students , low-income recipients (RSA allowance), MAPRA and Maison des Artistes card, ICOM card, LYON CITY CARD, disabled people.

 

Permanent pass: Allows unlimited access to all exhibitions from 10 September to 3 January 2016.
Single pass: €25
Duo pass: €35 (for two persons)
Youth pass: €15 (under 26 years)
